On April 16, the 7th Silk Road Young Scholars Symposium of XJTU – School of Electrical Engineering Sub-Forum was held. Young talents from overseas and teachers of School of EE had an in-depth exchange and discussion online. The forum was hosted by Lingyu Zhu, vice dean of the School.
Dr. Zhu expressed his sincere welcome and thanks to the young scholars for their participation on behalf of the School. He gave a detailed introduction of XJTU and the School of Electrical Engineering at the beginning of the symposium, including the history of the university and school, the faculty and talent program, the talent cultivation, the construction and development of i-Harbor. Etc. He extended a sincere invitation to the young talents, hoping to have the opportunity to communicate with them in depth and cooperate with them.
The young scholars also made detailed reports on their personal information and specific research field. The participants had a lively discussion around the topics of renewable energy consumption, magnetic drive robot and wireless charging of electric vehicles. During the meeting, the young scholars also put forward many valuable opinions and suggestions for the development of electric disciplines. Both sides expressed their great expectation for further exchanges and cooperation in the future.
